What is FaxGwise?

FaxGwise is a secure, reliable, and cost efficient way for organizations to send and receive faxes directly from their GroupWise desktop, in addition to any Windows or Open Office application. Using a new document type "fax" all enhancements appear completely in the look and feel of GroupWise.

When creating a new fax, the recipient can be entered directly or be chosen from a GroupWise address book. The subject, summary etc. will automatically be entered into an individually created fax draft. All attachments are converted into the fax format and sent together with the fax.

Send a fax to multiple recipients simultaneously

Using FaxGwise, a fax can be sent to multiple recipients at the same time, just like you are used to do from GroupWise. To send serial faxes, an advanced add on for Microsoft Word is provided.

Workflow integration

FaxGwise supports all common file formats. Any user can easily send documents e.g. Word or Excel via fax. When receiving faxes within the GroupWise Mailbox as a regular email with the fax message as a PDF attachment, you can individually choose to send a copy of the received faxes to a centralized Mailbox

Sending faxes via Windows and Open Office Applications

FaxGwise supports sending facsimiles from any Windows and Open Office applications. Simply choose the FaxGwise printer to send a fax. Advanced users may use a drag & drop function to send a fax. Simply drag the document into a blank fax template. The document will be converted into the fax format automatically.

FaxGwise has an auto populate feature that completely automates the addressing of the fax using the data fields in the document or email. FaxGwise allows the user to send faxes from a variety of sources, never leaving their desk, simply and quickly.
